 It is time to come clean. To own up and acknowledge it. I am writing a book. One of those things that you can put on your shelves and look things up in. I have a lot of books, so don't really need to write one myself. But for some reason this one seems to want to be written rather a lot...

 Cats are an inspiration. They teach you about life and the way the mind works, if only you pay attention. I have three cats currently. One old Somali, a young Main Coon and a young Chinchilla Persian (also known as a white fluffy thing..). The Main Coon looks like a hunter. She is sleek, fast, with big paws and serious claws and with a natural camouflage of mottled brown colours. I just came off Skype after working with one of my most inspirational coachees. A coachee is someone you coach. And this guy is proof that inspiration truly runs two ways.
I have been coaching him for a long time - 18 months - and we have been on a real journey together. Today, he started out by saying that he really didn't know what we should work on, and that he had learned that I would inevitably ask him exactly the questions that he most needed to ask. So I did. I woke up this morning with my cat purring at me. Not gently next to me, no purring AT me... I knew exactly what he wanted. Food. At 4AM. Now. Please. Can't Wait, he said... Am Hungry, he said...Am Old and Pitiful, he claimed when I didn't stir...May DIE Soon, he moaned...And as usual, that got me up.

 It is all about boundaries...
We get used to situations where we automatically set boundaries in our lives. We don't even think about them, and neither do the people we interact with on a regular basis. The challenge comes as we change and grow and as our priorities change and grow.
A classical example is when we are given new responsibilities in our job or our private life. A new project - or a new partner, maybe even a child - changes what is important
